Birds of a Feather is a flowy and light shawl that Drea Renee designed for Issue 2 of Laine Magazine. This pattern starts at a single point and grows and shifts from ethereal mohair to silky smooth single ply into a piece that begs to be wrapped up in. You will learn asymmetrical shawl shaping, 3 stitch decrease, lace, yarnovers, increasing, and playing with different yarn weights.
- Yarn A = fingering weight (2 skeins) 600 yds/150 g
- Yarn B = mohair lace (1 skein) 460 yds/50 g
NEEDLES: Size US 6/4 mm (32”/80 cm circular recommended)
